He has over 6,000 hours of flying experience and is a qualified instructor on single engine piston/jet, twin engine jet and multi engine jet aircraft.

He has flown 3,800 hours on twin engine piston/turbo prop/jets as a navigator and has vast instructional experience. He is an MBA from FMS, Delhi University and was the Registrar and Controller of Examinations of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi .
