Profile of Trustees

Collin Timms, Managing Trustee, has interests ranging from banking to healthcare management. He is the chairman of Guardian Bank, Opportunity Microfinance India, and Guardian Health Management, besides being the Director of Karnataka Souharda Federal Cooperative and Opportunity International Network. He is also a trustee of The Bridge Foundation. He also serves the board of Habitat for Humanity and many other financial Institutions in Bangalore .

Francis Alphonse, Trustee, is a director of Guardian Bank, Spot Taxi Transit Pvt Ltd and Otco International Ltd. He is also an entrepreneur, running several successful businesses.

Dr. Olinda Timms, Trustee, is a consultant in anaesthesiology at various leading hospitals in Bangalore . She is also a director of Guardian Bank, Spot Taxi Transit Pvt Ltd.

Ranita Hirji, Dean of Studies, is a Professor of English and Communications. Formerly with Mount Carmel College , Bangalore , where she was the Head of the Department of English and Communicative English, she has over 32 years of teaching experience. She is also a leading corporate consultant: she teaches language and communication skills, and imparts voiceover training. She also conducts personality development courses. She has consulted with and trained personnel in several high profile organisations such as 24 x 7 CustomerAsset.com, ICICI OneSource, Phoenix Global Solutions and R V Institute of Management. She has chaired several high level committees on education and is also on the board of studies of Christ College , Bangalore .
